Bulk Launch Cost Calculator: Per-Site Fees vs One License

Compare paying each directory's own premium fee with one $300 per month license for six sites. Free, and it runs in your browser.

Whole number from 1 to 50. Default is 3.

Aura++ comparison

Default is Premium. Plus is only a what-if. This site does not say the license includes Aura++ Plus.

Directories

Nothing you select is uploaded. Product Hunt is free and is not part of the license, so it is not in this total.

Pay-per-site, per product

$115

Pay-per-site for 3 products

$345

License, per month

$300

Difference

$45

The license is lower.

The license is cheaper for 3 products: $300 for the month, against $345 in directory fees. The difference is $45. On this same selection, 1 product is $115 and 2 products are $230, both under $300.

Break-even is 3 products. That is ceil(300 / 115).

Math

Aura++ Premium $29 + EarlyHunt $19 + IndieHunt $19 + Uno Directory $10 + MakerHunt $19 + SideHunt $19 = $115 per product

$19 × 4 + $29 + $10 = $115

3 × $115 = $345 in directory fees. License = $300 for the month.

Directory fees here are one-time per launch. The license is $300 for the month, not per product. A month with no launches still costs $300 if you keep the subscription. Product Hunt is free and is not part of the license.

1$115$300
2$230$300
3current$345$300
4$460$300
5$575$300
6$690$300

The license column is the monthly subscription. The per-site column is one-time fees times the number of products. The lower amount is in green. At a tie, neither amount is highlighted.

Who the license is for

A Premium Launcher license is $300 per month, billed by Polar, and you can cancel anytime. It fits agencies, studios, and makers who launch several products in the same month and want the paid listing on the partner directories. If three or more products are going out across those sites, run the numbers here before you open pricing.

A solo maker with one product, or a studio with only two launches this month, often spends less by paying each directory. With all six sites checked and Aura++ compared at Premium ($29), one product is $115 and two products are $230. Both sit under $300. The sum is four Hunt Premium fees at $19, plus Aura++ Premium at $29, plus the Uno Directory listing at $10.

How the license key works

Checkout gives you one key. It looks like AURA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and stays valid for the current billing period. You activate that same key on each platform's bulk submissions page, then submit through that platform's own form. Accepted platform ids are auraplusplus, earlyhunt, indiehunt, unodirectory, makerhunt, and sidehunt. A key that was never activated on a site does not unlock the premium path there. The short version of the paid slot is what a premium launch means, and cancellation sits in the FAQs.

Premium launches are included. Individual platforms may still apply their own limits or content rules. The same product cannot be launched more than once on the same platform. This page does not call the license unlimited, because the site does not say that. Count a new product, or the same product only on a directory that has not already listed it.

The license does not change form character limits or editorial rules. A directory can still reject a listing, ask for a longer description, or cap how many submissions it takes in a day. The launch copy character counter checks the tagline and description limits that the public submit forms publish.

A monthly license and a one-time fee are different bills

Hunt Premium on EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, MakerHunt, and SideHunt is $19 one-time per launch when you pay that site without the license. Aura++ Premium is $29 per launch and Aura++ Plus is $69 per launch. Uno Directory is a $10 listing. The $300 license is a monthly subscription, not a stack of one-time coupons. Ship three products in March and none in April, and the directory fees would have been tied to those three launches, while the license bills for each month you keep it.

This comparison starts at Aura++ Premium, $29. Switch it to Plus only if you would otherwise buy Plus. The site says the license covers premium launches on the six partner directories. It does not say the license includes the Aura++ Plus tier, so Plus stays a what-if on the per-site side. Product Hunt is free to post and is not part of the license, so it is left out of the total. The launch week planner can still put Product Hunt on the same calendar as the six directories. The platform list describes who each partner is for.

When not to buy it

Do not buy the license to save money on a single launch. One product on all six sites at the Premium comparison is $115, which is $185 under the monthly fee. Two products are $230, still $70 under. Break-even on that full set is three products, because 300 divided by 115 is about 2.61 and the next whole product is three (3 times 115 is 345). At five products the directory total is $575 against the $300 license.

Turn a directory off and the per-product cost drops, so break-even moves higher. EarlyHunt and IndieHunt alone are $38 a product, and eight of those ($304) is the first whole count past $300. The table prints rows one through six. The verdict uses your count, from 1 to 50. Agencies that launch a batch every month are the clearer fit. A maker shipping one flagship a quarter is not. The checkboxes start with all six on, and you can turn any of them off.

Nothing on this page is kept

The product count, the checkboxes, and the Aura++ tier run in your browser. Nothing you select is uploaded. The free tools index lists the other browser utilities. When the numbers say the license is the one you want, pricing is the checkout. Close the tab and the inputs are gone.

Premium Launcher is $300 per month for one license key on Aura++, EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, Uno Directory, MakerHunt, and SideHunt. The license does not change form character limits or directory editorial rules.

Questions

When is the license cheaper than paying per site?

With all six directories and Aura++ compared at Premium ($29), one product is $115 and two products are $230. Both are under the $300 monthly license, so paying per site is cheaper. Three products are $345, and that is the first whole count where the license costs less. Break-even is ceil(300 / per-product cost). Uncheck a site or switch the Aura++ comparison to Plus ($69) and the count moves. The license is a monthly bill. Directory fees are one-time per launch.

Does the license cover Product Hunt?

No. Product Hunt is free to post and is not one of the six directories on the license. This calculator does not add a Product Hunt fee.

Can I launch the same product twice on one platform?

No. The same product cannot be launched more than once on the same platform. Count a different product, or the same product only on a directory that has not listed it yet. A repeat submission is not another paid launch in this math.

Is anything stored?

No. The product count, the platform checkboxes, and the Aura++ comparison stay in your browser. Nothing on this page is uploaded or saved.

Do prices change?

The figures here are the public prices on this site: the license is $300 per month; Hunt Premium is $19 one-time on EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, MakerHunt, and SideHunt; Aura++ Premium is $29 per launch and Plus is $69 per launch; Uno Directory is $10. If a directory changes its own fee, this page is wrong until it is updated. The license price is the subscription on the pricing page.
