Home/Free tools/Launch ROI Calculator
Enter your own visitors, rates, price, and launch cost. The page multiplies those figures and shows signups, revenue, net return, ROI, and break-even. Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter.
Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter.
People you expect to land on this launch. Use your own figure.
Out of 100 visitors, how many become signups. From 0 to 100.
Out of 100 signups, how many pay. From 0 to 100.
What one paying customer pays you. A number from 0 up.
Used only when the price is monthly. A one-time price is not multiplied by months.
What you spend to run the launch. Type a number, or use a chip to fill a public price from this site.
Six directories at Premium: $19 × 4 + $29 + $10 = $115. Hunt Premium is EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, MakerHunt, and SideHunt. Aura++ Plus ($69) is that directory's own price. This site does not say the license includes Plus. A chip replaces the launch cost. It does not change your visitors or rates.
Nothing you type is uploaded.
Enter your numbers to see signups, paying customers, revenue, net return, ROI, and break-even.
Signups are your expected launch visitors times the visitor-to-signup percent you type, divided by 100. Paying customers are those signups times your signup-to-paid percent, divided by 100. First-month revenue is paying customers times the price. Nothing else is added. Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter.
A one-time price is counted once per paying customer, so revenue over the retention period matches the first month. A monthly price is counted once for the first month, then multiplied by the months retained you type for the longer total. Months retained stay visible when you pick one-time, and they are not used in that mode.
Net return is revenue over the retention period minus the launch cost. ROI is that net return divided by the launch cost, times 100. When the launch cost is $0, net return is still shown and ROI is left blank, because a percentage of zero is not a return rate.
Paying customers needed to cover the cost are the launch cost divided by what one paying customer brings in: the one-time price, or the monthly price times months retained. Visitors needed are that customer count divided by the two rates you entered, each divided by 100 and then multiplied. If the price is $0 while the cost is above $0, or a rate is 0 while customers are still required, that break-even line stays blank.
The chips replace the launch cost field. They do not fill visitors or rates. The figures are the public prices on this site: the license is $300 per month; Hunt Premium is $19 one-time on EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, MakerHunt, and SideHunt; Aura++ Premium is $29 per launch and Plus is $69 per launch; Uno Directory is $10. All six directories with Aura++ at Premium are $19 × 4 + $29 + $10 = $115. The same constants drive the bulk launch cost calculator.
The $300 license is a monthly subscription, billed by Polar, and you can cancel anytime. Directory fees are one-time per launch when you pay the directory without the license. The site says the license covers premium launches on the six partner directories. It does not say the license includes Aura++ Plus, so the Plus chip is only that directory's own price. Product Hunt is free to post and is not part of the license, so it has no chip. The launch week planner can still place Product Hunt on a calendar, and the launch copy character counter checks the public submit-form limits.
A positive net return means the visitors, rates, price, and months you typed cover the launch cost you typed. It does not mean a directory will send that traffic, and it does not change a platform's editorial rules. The same product cannot be launched more than once on the same platform. Premium launches are included with the license. Individual platforms may still apply their own limits or content rules.
The platform list describes the six partners. When the cost you care about is the subscription, pricing is the checkout. The free tools index lists the other browser utilities, and the FAQs cover how the key and cancellation work.
Visitors, rates, price, months, the one-time or monthly choice, and launch cost stay in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded. Close the tab and the inputs are gone. Reset clears the form without saving it.
Premium Launcher is $300 per month for one license key on Aura++, EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, Uno Directory, MakerHunt, and SideHunt. The license does not change form character limits or directory editorial rules.
No. Signups, paying customers, revenue, net return, ROI, and break-even are calculated only from the visitors, percents, price, months, and launch cost you enter. Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter. If a field is blank or not a valid number, the results stay hidden. This page does not fill in a rate for you.
First-month revenue is paying customers times the price, whether you charge once or each month. Over the retention period, a monthly price is multiplied by the months you enter, and a one-time price is not. Months retained stay on the form when one-time is selected, and they are not used. Set months to 1 on a monthly price if you want the longer total to match the first month.
Each chip replaces the launch cost with a price already published on this site. The license is $300 per month. Hunt Premium is $19 one-time on EarlyHunt, IndieHunt, MakerHunt, and SideHunt. Aura++ Premium is $29 per launch and Plus is $69 per launch. Uno Directory is $10. All six directories with Aura++ at Premium are $19 × 4 + $29 + $10 = $115. The chips do not change your visitors or rates. The site says the license covers premium launches on those directories. It does not say the license includes Aura++ Plus.
Paying customers needed to cover the cost equal launch cost divided by the revenue from one paying customer. That revenue is the one-time price, or the monthly price times months retained. Visitors needed equal those customers divided by (visitor-to-signup percent / 100) times (signup-to-paid percent / 100). If the price is $0 while the launch cost is above $0, or a rate is 0 while customers are still required, that line is left blank because there is no finite count. A launch cost of $0 is already covered, so both counts are 0.
No. The inputs stay in your browser. Nothing on this page is uploaded or saved. The calculator does not start the $300 subscription. Checkout is on the pricing page.
